News: Kid Cudi stopped at gunpoint by Los Angeles police

Kid Cudi was pulled over at gunpoint by police in a case of mistaken identity in Los Angeles yesterday (December 21).

The rapper, who was in the city to play live dates having recently pulled out of Lady GaGa's Monster Ball Tour, had been doing a photoshoot with NME outside the Joyrich store on Melrose Avenue.

Shortly after leaving the store with his entourage in two SUVs and a Jeep, the rapper was pulled over by an officer on Fairfax Avenue.

Two police cars cordoned off the road while a further three pulled up next to Cudi's vehicles. Passengers in the cars were then ordered out with their hands on their heads, before being made to kneel on the ground where they were handcuffed. It was only then that Los Angeles Police Department officers realised it was a case of mistaken identity.

After the passengers had been released, the officer in charge explained that a resident in the vicinity of the shop had mistakenly identified the party as being involved in a burglary, before allowing Cudi's entourage to go on its way.

Kid Cudi later told NME.COM that he wasn't sure what had happened.

"Who knows, really, the story changed a bunch," he said. "I'm just happy to be back. I'm a free man! For that moment I was not free. I was in handcuffs. It did not feel very comfortable."

He added that he did not begrudge the police for the error: "We're in LA, it's a rowdy place in the United States, you know? And a lot of shit goes down. And these cops have to use force. So it's, like, I understand that they were doing their job. I just wish we weren't in that place at that time."

SMH ...... my opinion on this whole situation will probably be posted later. This is just ... crazy. The LAPD need to QUIT playing & get it together.

News: Cudi leaves the Monster's Ball tour.

A lot of people are saying dude got kicked out the tour because of the punch. I can believe that .. actually I did believe that but I also thought about Cudi having a show coming out next year, i believe. (I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS BTW) They say this show is suppose to be like ..... the NEXT ENTOURAGE & if you DON'T KNOW I am the biggest fan of Entourage. So seeing Cudi take over the next chapter of a show similiar to that, since it's written by Mark Walhberg & he wrote Entourage ... I am so so so so so excited.  BUT ANYWAYS, here is the official statement from cudi on his departure from the tour:

Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments.  Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January. –DREAM ON

News: CUDI AIN'T GOING TO COURT YALL!!!

If you didn't know Friday night Kid Cudi punched a fan in the face for throwing a wallet on the stage (Video posted below) & well ... he ended up hitting the wrong person, some say but with the quote. He obviously didn't. He hit a guy named Michael Sharpe, who apparently threw the wallet on stage because "it didn't belong to him" Uh huh .. yeah right anyways. Cudi's "bitch i'm from CLEVELAND" ass jumped off stage & punched him. (Which had me laughing for about a GOOD 15 MINUTES.) Michael has released a quote letting fans know, he will NOT be pressing chargers, BUT .. "I'm not upset, I'm not going to be that person. I just want to meet him and be like 'I'm the guy you punched.' I'm not going to press charges." If I was cudi, i'd take him up on that offer before dude does anything stupid. IM JUST SAYIN.

There is no sound but as you can see .... dude took off his earpiece as if he were Shaniqua down on Crenshaw & flew off the stage as if he was Tinkerbell or something .... lmfao. & All I heard in my head when he flew off the stage was "BITCH IM FROM CLEVELAND" lmfaooooo, you GO CUDI, YOU GO!!
